Denne s\u00e5kaldte monitoring er vigtig og skal gennemf\u00f8res l\u00f8bende i planlagt afstand, hvis du vil forberede dig specifikt til den nye s\u00e6son eller et enkelt event. Opdaterede trainings zoner og en skr\u00e6ddersyet trainings plan giver coach og atleten mulighed til interpretation af selve resultatet, s\u00e5 planen evt. kan tilpasses for at sikre den \u00f8nskede performance udvikling.  Selv hvis du ikke har et bestemt m\u00e5l, hj\u00e6lper en performancetest med at sammenligne en subjektiv f\u00f8lt intensitet med objektive data.
